Maria L.Our carpet cleaning systems are performed to IICRC standards for S100 textile floor covering cleaning. We use the most cutting-edge technology to deliver the ABSOLUTE BEST CLEAN. Our standard carpet cleaning process removes 95% of “regular stains”. Specialty stains may require advanced spotting treatments and may incur additional charges. (I.E. red wine, mustard, ink, severe urine spots, Kool aid, rust stains and any acid dye based stains)
Application of a water based 3 part cleaning solution that breaks the surface tension of the carpet, loosens, deflocculates, and suspends embedded soil.

This is our final step in ensuring all soil, and solution residues are fully removed, while sanitizing at high temperatures.
Drying time of carpet after service vary based on room temperature, relative humidity, and air movement. Generally carpet remain damp after service for 4-8 hours.

Specialty stains require the use of advanced spotting treatments. These advanced treatments require the use of aggressive solutions. The use of these solutions may alter the texture or appearance of the carpet permanently.
Set in stains are stains that cannot be removed. This may happen when spills occur and the wrong cleaning agent was introduced into the carpet, or the carpet fiber is damaged. Our process ensures we take every step to try to remove all stains, but not all stains can be removed 100%.
Traffic wear is acondition where a traffic pattern is formed on carpet from normal wear and tearaccumulated through time, has formed a traffic pattern on carpet that appearsdarker than other areas. This is most common in heavy traffic areas. Theseareas may appear more prominent after cleaning.
Sun Fading is a condition where carpet exposed to the sun may change in color hue. These areas may appear more prominent after cleaning.
Ripples, rippling, or looseness in the carpet may be caused by several conditions. (I.E. improper installation, faulty material, among many factors) This condition cannot be caused by our cleaning process. This condition can be corrected by re-stretching the carpet, replacing, or reinforcing the tacking strip.
Water damage is NOT standard carpet cleaning and requires a completely different scope of work. Water damage requires proper inspection, extraction, application of antimicrobial disinfectants, and drying procedures to ensure safety.
Heavy pet stains & pet stain odors may be a re-occurring problematic area. Wicking may occur after cleaning due to the urine salts that are left behind after a pet urinates and the spot dries. Odors may also be a re-occurring problem due to the pet urinating in the same area repeatedly over time. These areas require advanced stain & odor removal techniques that incorporate bio-enzyme odor counteractants. These treatments are not part of our standard cleaning process and are subject to additional charges depending on severity and number of areas that require treatment.
Due to ourinsurance policy, general items we move during service include couches, chairs,small tables, ottomans. We do not move entertainment centers, anything thathouses or holds electronics, beds, dressers, grandfather clocks, pianos, chinacabinets, family heirlooms, itemsexceeding 200 lbs. in weight, antiques, collectables, personal items such asjewelry, art and crafts, specialty valuables, and any item our technicians deemas a liability. If any of the items above need to be moved for service, we canmake the necessary arrangements with a professional moving company tocoordinate schedules at an additional cost.
