How To Care for Your Upholstery

how to care for your upholstery
  • Vacuum your upholstery regularly. Vacuuming removes 80% of dry soil that can be abrasive towards fabrics.
  • Flip cushions regularly if possible to extend the wear, and aging process of your fabric.
  • In the event of any spills, blot spot with a white terry towel. Do not rub, tamp spot with towel and press down. This will allow the terry towel to absorb standing moisture. Repeat until there is no more transfer. Apply Home Pro Spotter, follow directions on the label.
  • If stain persists (i.e. red wine, kool aid, mustard, ketchup, coffee, etc.) do not attempt to remove with house hold cleaning items. This may permanently set stain.

If you have stains or spots that are persisting on your upholstery, please call CSI at 312.612.0274 for a consultation.  We will inspect the stains, asses your needs, provide you with upfront pricing, with absolutely no commitment or pressure sales gimmicks.
